The Events Coordinator will have a wide range of administrative duties that include operations management, event logistics, data management, program operations, and hospitality. A very motivated and self-starting individual is sought that has strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities. This job requires being on your feet as much as sitting behind a desk. This role also has room for growth and provides opportunities to develop new skills.
Events Coordinator Job Responsibilities:
-Facilitate LI’s in-house training programs
-Facility maintenance: includes scheduling cleanings, security, and inventory of supplies
-Assist the planning and executing happy hours, donor events, staff events, and the yearly National Fourth of July Conservative Soirée
-Maintain relationships with partner organizations and vendors
-Provide support with internal and external promotion of events
Desired Candidate Attributes:
-Experience with spreadsheets (or translatable organizational skills)
-Excellent interpersonal skills
-Attention to aesthetic details
-Bonus: familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
Position includes benefits, room for growth, and a yearly salary between 30K-40K.
