| WHIO-TV is looking for a Weekend Meteorologist to join the Storm Center 7 team. Our successful candidate will have a strong on-air presence and be able to effectively communicate the weather story, whether clear or severe. He or she will understand the skillful use of all weather tools – from our own Baron Radar to interaction with thousands of local viewers who act as storm spotters/photographers. Duties will include working all weekend newscasts – from morning through 11pm; providing updated forecasts and unique content for our 24-hour weather channel; and reporting on weather or environmental issues. We prefer at least three years of on-air experience and a degree in Meteorology or similar physical sciences.
