| Position Purpose: Produce newscasts, write for broadcast, and develop stories. Primary Responsibilities: Execute the station’s mission for a particular newscast Writing Copy Work with other Producers, Managers, Writers, Photographers, Reporters and Assignment Editors Contribute story ideas Contribute content to website. |

| Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Two to Three years experience in a television broadcast newsroom
BA or BS Degree
Strong writing and communication skills
Ability to multi task and meet deadlines
Understanding news stories and how they impact viewers
Strong phone and people skills
Other duties as assigned
Hours may include weekend, nights and Holidays.
