| A College Republican National Committee ("CRNC") Field Representative will find and strengthen the voices of young conservatives. Field Representatives are responsible for promoting conservative principles, recruiting new College Republicans, and electing Republican candidates. CRNC Field Reps will lead the charge in organizing College Republicans in their efforts to advance the cause of the Republican Party. Recruiting efforts will include recruiting on college campuses, dormitory drives, and voter registration efforts. Additionally, they will be on the forefront of important issue battles on campuses in select states.
The position is one of the most sought after political jobs in the country, with cutting edge training applicable to campaigns across the nation and an opportunity to develop a nationwide network of contacts. Many CRNC Field Representatives currently find themselves working in various political positions across the country, including House, Senate and Governor's offices. Contract pay will consist of a $3,600.00 stipend. The position begins August 16 and end November 4, 2010. For many, this position will require temporary relocation to Nevada, Colorado, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania or Florida.
