POSITION OVERVIEW:
Provides administrative support to the Vice President of Operations
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Schedule appointments; maintain VP’s calendar; coordinate meeting and travel arrangements; compile briefing materials; prioritize mail and faxes; prepare and proof correspondence; maintain electronic and paper files; prepare, edit and distribute fundraising reports; answer inquiries on routine matters and refer complex and issue specific matters to the appropriate staff; prepare and distribute correspondence to officers and appropriate staff; coordinate logistics for conference calls and meetings; assist with special projects
required skills
REQUIREMENTS:
Degree and 1-2 years of administrative and office management experience supporting a senior-level executive in a trade association, corporation, or on the Hill; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong proofreading and editing skills; experience streamlining office operations; flexibility to work overtime; and proficiency in MS Office and with databases.
